Every commission is as unique as the story it tells. Size, materials, design complexity, and installation all influence the investment.   I’ll guide you through the process with clarity and transparency every step of the way.

Whether you’re envisioning an intimate portrait for your home or a large-scale installation for a public or commercial space, I provide a complete, collaborative experience, from the earliest conversations and concept development through fabrication and installation.

I accept a limited number of commissions each year, allowing me to give every project, and every client, my full attention, creativity, and care.

Celebrate Someone You Love

More than a portrait. A celebration of a life, a relationship, and the stories that connect us.

Every portrait begins with a conversation

Together, we’ll explore the stories, memories, photographs, and meaningful objects that capture the essence of someone you love. These become the inspiration for a one-of-a-kind sculptural portrait, handcrafted from reclaimed ceramics and other thoughtfully chosen materials.

Some of those materials may come from you, a cherished piece of pottery, a family heirloom, or meaningful memory wares. Others have found their way into my studio over many years, patiently waiting for their moment in someone’s story. Together, they become part of a portrait that could never exist for anyone else.

The result is more than a likeness. It is a deeply personal work of art that celebrates connection, honors a life, and becomes part of your family’s story for generations to come.

Celebrate Someone You Love

“Gila was amazing to work with, very helpful with taking my idea and making it a masterpiece! She was wonderful with giving me color palette options, grout color samples, and communication all around. The mosaic backsplash is stunning in my new kitchen. Highly recommend!”

You bring the story, the vision, and the inspiration.

I’ll transform them into a work of art that is more meaningful
and more beautiful than you imagined.

Beginning is Simple

To get started, I just need a few things:

  • A reference photo (the most important ingredient)
  • Your desired size
  • A detail or two about your subject: favorite things, hobbies, what makes them them
  • Any imagery, logos, or design ideas you have in mind (no idea yet? I love helping with that)
  • Material or color preferences (or we explore together)
  • Installation details: indoors, outdoors, wall type, etc.
  • Any timeline or deadline to keep in mind

Every detail you share helps me understand your vision and give you an accurate estimate. And if you’re not sure about any of it, that’s what our conversation is for.
